I chose this book from the publisher to review because of the subtitle, “Live Younger Longer”. This peaked my interest.
We all know we should eat right and exercise but Dr. Furman explains what could happen if we don’t, as we age. He is simple and straightforward, sharing his lifetime of research. We can live younger longer 7 to 12 years by eating the right foods, exercising and maintaining our ideal weight. Much is discussed about prevention, our quality of life and being as healthy as we can be. Written in words easy to understand and follow. This isn’t a diet book but a lifestyle change.
I would recommend ‘Prescription for Life’ to anyone who is serious about living life to the fullest with his or her health. I am challenged to remove some unhealthy food choices and exercise more. We have the choice to change our lifestyle or we may not have a lifestyle to change. After reading this book you will be more committed to following a healthy lifestyle and using the Prescription for Life plan as a guide.
