Love Where You Live is about living intentionally where God has sent you. Shauna tells her story of her family’s journey to San Francisco and living sent.
Love Where You Live helped me realize several things about our next move as we consider and pray about where God would lead us.
The book isn’t for those planning a move, but it’s for anyone who wants to serve God right where they are and be Jesus to those around you.
The chapter ‘The Comfortable Life’ really had me thinking since we are considering moving to a warmer climate. Nothing wrong with that unless “comfort” is all it’s about.
Then, Pilgreen says, comfort is an idol.
Comfort is a gift, not a destination.
Overall this was a decent read though slow for me in some parts with many details.
