The New You is the perfect guide to a better life physically, emotionally and spiritually. This guide covers it all in small, doable steps.
Being intentional is key to our wellness. Life is busy and the last thing I want to do is work out, or plan meals or even spend quality time in God’s word. But we reap what we sow. The New You covers everything we’ve all heard about wellness but it’s written in a way that doesn’t overwhelm the reader. As I read the “small steps” at the end of each chapter, I came away with an I-can-do-this.
I would recommend this book to anyone who desires to live their best. By using the three key commitments in chapter 1, we can all become a new you.
- surrender your health to God
- stop making excuses
- start taking small steps toward change
Some of my favorite quotes from the book:
“God wants us all to live full, accomplishing the things he put us here to do.”
“Keeping ourselves in good health is really an act of stewardship.”
“Better to make time for healthy living now than to be forced to spend time (and money) dealing with health problems down the road.”
“If we aren’t spiritually healthy, we will always struggle with our body, our mind, and our emotions.”
