Discouragement can be defeated.
‘Don’t Lose Heart’ is about having hope when discouraged from the events of this life, whether personal or worldly. Written from a Christian perspective, included are practical, Biblical principles that point to Jesus as our hope.
Though a small book, it is full of encouraging words. Words to bring us back to Jesus. We lose heart sometimes when our focus is on the problems around us instead of on Jesus. We can defeat discouragement for our past, the present and future uncertainties.
‘Don’t Lose Heart’ has given me hope that God is still in control of this crazy, messed up world and my crazy, messed up life. I’m encouraged to try harder to keep my focus on Him and not the problems. The author, Jason Meyer, is a pastor and he’s written his words in such a way that I feel like I’m sitting in his office discussing life disappointments.
I would recommend this book to Christians who need a boost of encouragement. We all lose heart at times and the author helps us to know what to do about it. The only thing I dislike is the retail price for such a small book.
