That symbol has so much meaning to me. The symbol of the anchor reminds me that Jesus is my hope and He alone anchors my soul. The anchor also reminds me of my Navy dad, who I lost several years ago. “Hope anchors the soul” Hebrews 6:19. God uses the example of an anchor as a promise that He is “sure and steadfast” for you and for me. Where Can Hope be Found?
What does life look like when we have no hope? I probably don’t need to remind you if you’ve been there. Some of the ways I've experienced is living with fear, wanting to give up, apathy, depression and anger. It’s a sad place to be. I’d like to share today how I found hope.
